SUP PILATES

off the mat and ON WATER

Do you want to practice Pilates outdoors on water? Pilates classes on Stand Up Paddle are open to everyone from May on weekends. For new students, a short interview will allow us to evaluate how to safely approach this wonderful discipline.

Each lesson will last 2 hours and includes: an introduction to the use of the table, a warm-up and the execution of some Pilates exercises, to stretch and strengthen your body.

2 hour weekly course:

Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 upon booking.

SUP Yoga course timetable:

  • 10 min. Welcoming and material preparation

  • 30 min. introduction to SUP basics

  • 60 min Pilates

  • 10 min. Return equipment

How did you approach SUP Pilates?

I started by chance doing some exercises on the table on the advice of a dear friend who told me she practiced Yoga. I immediately loved the combination of exercise and nature, the energies of water and the atmosphere. I then proposed the activity at the SUP center in Agno, Lugano, which helped me in make the students move safely in water.

What is SUP Pilates for you?

Practicing Pilates is for me like breathing. I like being able to share this wonderful discipline even outdoor, especially on water. I feel free and it gives me a sense of harmony and fusion with nature. In a group an even greater energy arises and creates a beautiful atmosphere. The board also gives valuable information on how the body reacts to certain movements. It is truly an experience to try if you love water and Pilates.
